Busan, Republic of Korea — Dr. Thirada Suwannasri, President of SBI Global Network, participated in the World University Leaders Forum 2026, held as part of the 12th IYF Education Forum from 12–19 July 2026 at Nurimaru APEC House and BEXCO Convention Center in Busan, Republic of Korea.
The international forum was organized under the theme “Core Values of Future Professionals: A New Mindset,” bringing together university presidents, education leaders, policymakers, researchers, and representatives from educational institutions across the globe. The event served as an international platform for exchanging ideas, discussing emerging trends in higher education, and strengthening collaboration to prepare future generations for the rapidly changing global landscape.
Throughout the forum, participants explored a wide range of topics related to the future of education, including leadership development, character education, international academic cooperation, and educational innovation in the era of artificial intelligence. Special sessions also focused on “Leadership for Conflict Resolution: The Value of Exchange in Addressing War, Economic Challenges, and Social Division” and “Transforming Education for the AI Era: Character and Leadership Development,” highlighting the importance of developing both professional competencies and human values in future education.
Representing Thailand on the international stage, Dr. Thirada Suwannasri engaged in discussions with university leaders and educational experts from various countries, exchanging best practices and exploring new opportunities for academic collaboration. The participation reflects SBI Global Network’s ongoing mission to connect Thailand with leading educational institutions worldwide while promoting sustainable international partnerships.
As part of the official mission from 12–19 July 2026, the SBI Global Network delegation also participated in academic forums, institutional visits, and networking activities with universities and international organizations.
